► RR Makie Ohler takes World Championship Gold in Toronto
The PA’s Makie Ohler took advantage of the opportunity when the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon agreed to host World Masters Athletics’ first stand-alone World Marathon Championship. Makie powered to a 3:14:25, to take the gold medal in the F55-59 division beating her nearest rival by more than 10 minutes. An even more impressive time considering the cold and windy conditions in Toronto.
