Since turning 65, the PA’s Jacob Nur has been on quite a tear. He set 4 M65-69 ARs (5K, 10K, 10 Mile and H Mar). In 2025, when he turned 70 in Aug, he set two ratified M70-74 ARs at 10K and 10 Mile. So far in 2026 he has pending ARs at 30K, 8K, 5K, the Mile, and most recently the 4 Mile mark set at the USATF Masters 4 Mile Championships at the Steamboat...

RR Jenny Hitchings breaks 5K Age Group AR twice!
Jenny Hitchings really likes running the 5K course in Golden Gate Park. On June 7th, Hitchings ran 19:02 (chip time) at the Stow Lake Stampede to break Masters Hall of Famer, Kathy Martin’s mark of 19:04 set back in 2011. She apparently enjoyed the course so much she ran it again at the Patagonia 5K on July 13th where she ran a blistering 18:44, 98.06%...

The Impala Racing Team’s Nancy Simmons along with Cheryl Bellaire, Julie Hayden, and Lesley Hinz set a pending World Record in the W65-69 age group for the 4 x 800 relay. The race was run at the Down the Stretch Track Fest held at George Mason University on 5/24. Their time of 11:47:94 shatered the old WR of 12:31.46 set just last year in St. Paul, MN....
