Meet your Athletes Committee Pacific Association Executive Board Representative,
Athlete’s Chair Jestena Mattson.
Jestena, a Fresno State alumna with record-setting collegiate performances, is also an Olympian, both at the Summer Olympics for Heptathlon and at the Winter Olympics on the Bobsled Team. She received a USATF Pacific Foundation training grant in 2021, folllowing exceptional performances in her post collegiate career.
- Definition of a USATF elite athlete: an athlete who has competed or who has qualified to compete in a USA National Track & Field Championship or U.S. Olympic Team Trials.

We have had some updates to our website over the past couple of months. The instructions for USATF Safe Sport training currently on the website are outdated.
