Schedule and Results of Grand Prix Races
The 2023 Grand Prix Championship season is expected to consist of the following races: 1,500 Meter, One Mile, 3,000 Meter, 5,000 Meter, One Hour (tentative), 10 Kilometer, and 20 Kilometer.

Saturday, Feb 4, 2023 – 1,500 Meter RW Championship Grand Prix
The USA Track and Field Pacific Association 1,500-meter Race Walk was the first race of the 2023 Grand Prix Championship. The event was conducted on February 4, at 9:30am, in Berkeley, CA, before the California Golden Bears 2023 All-Comers Track & Field Meet. Women’s and Men’s races were separate, one immediately following the other.

Saturday, Feb 18, 2023 – One Mile RW Championship Grand Prix
The USA Track and Field Pacific Association One Mile Race Walk was the second race of the 2023 Grand Prix Championship. The event was conducted on February 18, at 9:30am, in Berkeley, CA, before the California Golden Bears 2023 All-Comers Track & Field Meet. Women’s race was first, followed by Men’s.

Saturday, Mar 4, 2023 – 3,000 Meter RW Championship Grand Prix
The USA Track and Field Pacific Association 3,000 Meter Race Walk was the third race of the 2023 Grand Prix Championship. The event was conducted on March 4, at 10am, in Berkeley, CA, before the California Golden Bears Season Opener Track & Field Meet. Women and Men raced together in one combined event.

Saturday, June 3, 2023 – 5,000 Meter RW Championship Grand Prix
The USA Track and Field Pacific Association 5,000-meter Race Walk Grand Prix Championship will be held on Saturday, June 3, as part of the Golden West Invitational Track & Field Meet at Rancho Cordova High School in Rancho Cordova, CA (Sacramento area). Start time not yet determined. Athletes must pre-register online using the Coach O registration process at coacho.com.

tbd, 2023 – One Hour RW Championship Grand Prix
The USA Track and Field Pacific Association One Hour Race Walk Grand Prix Championship will be held between the 5,000 Meter and 10-Kilometer dates, at a location not yet determined. Most likely this will be in at a high school in Vacaville or Sacramento, CA. If possible, Race Organizers will submit the race results for compilation with results from other races in the country to determine national rankings.

Sunday, Oct 29 (TENTATIVE Date), 2023 – 10K, 20K, and 35K RW Championship Grand Prix (with 3-K Power Walk to Follow)
Combined women’s and men’s 10-kilometer, 20-kilometer, and 35-kilometer race walks will be held on a certified one-kilometer loop course at William B. Pond Park in Carmichael, California (Sacramento area). If no pre-registrations are received for the 20-kilometer or 35-kilometer race, they will not be held and the day’s schedule will be advanced. A combined women’s and men’s 3-kilometer Power Walk will follow the completion of the race walks. An Awards Ceremony will be held after the post-race picnic to distribute race medals and Grand Prix medals. The Annual Meeting of the Race Walk Committee will follow the picnic.

Schedule and Results of Grand Prix Races
The 2022 Grand Prix Championship season consisted of the following races: 1,500 Meter, One Mile, 5,000 Meter, 10 Kilometer, and 20 Kilometer. Despite the dynamic situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, all races were in-person physically-present races.

Saturday, 29 January 2022 – 1,500 Meter RW Championship Grand Prix
The USA Track and Field Pacific Association 1,500-meter Race Walk was the first race of the 2022 Grand Prix Championship. It was conducted on January 29, in Berkeley, CA, as part of the California Golden Bears 2022 All-Comers Track & Field Meet. Women’s race was conducted first, followed by a separate Men’s Race.

Separate women’s and men’s Pacific Association Grand Prix One-Mile Race Walks were conducted as part of the UC-Berkeley/Cal All Comers’ Track and Field Meet. Women’s race started at 9:33am, and separate Men’s race at 9:59am.

The USA Track and Field Pacific Association 5,000-meter Race Walk Grand Prix Championship was held on Saturday, June 4. The combined Men’s and Women’s races were conducted as part of the Pacific Association Open Track & Field Championship, in combination with the Golden West Track & Field meet at Rancho High School in Rancho Cordova, CA (near Sacramento, CA).

The USATF Pacific Association Grand Prix consisted of seven events, all conducted virtually due to the global COVID-19 pandemic: 1,500 Meters, One Mile, 3,000-Meter, 5,000-Meter, One Hour, 10-Kilometer, and 20-Kilometer.

The USA Track and Field Pacific Association COVID-19 #AloneTogether Virtual 1,500-meter Race Walk was the first race of the 2021 Grand Prix. It was conducted from February 6 to 28, 2021.
The event was conducted on city streets and sidewalks, school tracks, parking lots, paved pathways, park trails, and treadmills across the USA.
