SPECIAL OFFER for COACHES!
The Pacific Association Race Walk Committee encourages youth coaches to include race walkers. We will award $100 each to the first three (3) Pacific Association youth coaches who complete both activities below:
1.Pass the online Coaching Racewalking Course at USATF Continuing Education and
2.Have at least one athlete Finish (not DQ’d) at any judged race walk event in 2026 or 2027.

Sunday, Oct 25, 2026 – 10-Kilometer Race Walk Championship, with concurrent 5,000-Meter Race Walk, followed by concurrent 1,000-Meter and 3,000-Meter Power Walks, Carmichael, CA
On behalf of USA Track & Field Pacific Association, Sierra Race Walkers will host the 10-Kilometer Racewalk Championship concurrent with a 5,000-Meter Racewalk. A 1,000-Meter Power Walk and concurrent 3,000-Meter Power Walk will follow. Races will be held on the certified one-kilometer loop course at the end of the paved parking lot at William B. Pond Park in Carmichael, California (Sacramento area). Race walks start at 9am with power walks to follow. [We can’t combine all the races because race walkers must be judged separately from power walkers.] These events are not eligible for USA Track & Field records.

Sunday, Dec 27, 2026 – One Mile Race Walk at Holiday Invitational Indoor Track Meet, Reno, NV
A One-Mile Race Walk will be part of the USATF-Pacific Association Holiday Invitational Indoor Track Meet at Reno-Sparks Convention Center, 4065 South Virginia Street, Reno, NV 89502. This is a Youth, Open, and Masters meet, with combined start for all groups.

For Youth, High School, Open, and Masters athletes, with combined start for all.

Saturday, Jan 30, 2027 – Simultaneous *3,000-Meter & 1,500-Meter Indoor Race Walks, Reno, NV
Concurrent 3,000-meter and 1,500-meter Indoor Race Walks will be conducted on Saturday, January 30, 2027, at the USA Track and Field Pacific Association Championship Indoor Track Meet at Reno-Sparks Convention Center, 4065 South Virginia Street, Reno, NV 89502. For High School, Open, and Masters athletes. Note that the two races will be simultaneous; each starts at the same time from a different area of the track. Racewalkers register for only one distance; athletes in 3,000-meter race are expected to finish within 30 minutes. This is a great opportunity to gain experience racing on an indoor track prior to the USATF Indoor Championships.

A 1,500-Meter Race Walk Championship will be conducted on the track at Edwards Stadium at the University of California, 2223 Fulton St, Berkeley, CA 95704, before the California Golden Bears All-Comers Track & Field Meet. Separate Women’s and Men’s races, one race immediately following the other. Registration consists of TWO parts: 1) Register at DirectAthletics.com for the All Comers and pay their facility/event fee, 2) Complete the separate Racewalk Registration form. NOTE: PAUSATF Race Walk Committee designated this as an outreach event and waived the add-on fee for racewalk registration.

A 5,000-meter race walk was part of the Golden West Invitational Track & Field Meet in conjunction with the USATF Pacific Association Masters Track & Field Meet at Rancho Cordova High School, 2239 Chase Dr, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 (Sacramento area). The 5,000-meter event is the Pacific Association Championship. All registrants race together in one combined event that started at 7:30am.
