The sun was shining, the temperature was in the high 30s/low 40s with occasional
heavy gusts of wind. The course was just about 100% grass with some very slight
'inclines'. If the times seem slow, remember the high altitude.
Of the 2153 finishers 170 ran for the Pacific Association (7.9%) and 26 ran for the
Central California Association (1.2%). Of the 250 individual medals (top 25 in each
of the 10 age groups) 31 were awarded to PA runners (12.4%), one was for first place.
Of the 30 team medals (top 3 in each of the 10 age groups) 5 were awarded to PA
teams (16.6%), 3 were for first place.
