MacCanDo Tenderloin Youth Track Club proudly announces that our Head Coach Robert McDaniels received the 

"Elks Distinguished Citizenship Award of 2008 for Outstanding and Meritorious Service to Humanity" from the 

San Francisco Lodge NO. 3, B.P.O.E. (Elk's Club) on the night of March 28.  He earned this recognition due in 

part to his role as founder, director and head coach of MacCanDo.  Coach McDaniels has also been selected to 

carry the Olympic torch in San Francisco on April 9 by the San Francisco Organizing Committee.
