A casting agent we have worked with in the past is looking for athletes
for a Canon commercial which will shoot in Japan in late January.
They are looking for one long jumper (male or female), 1 high jumper
(male or female) and 2-5 MALE 100m sprinters.
To be considered for the commercial, the athlete needs to send in video
footage from the last six months, and they need to NOT be a contender to
make the Olympic Team. They need somebody who will sign a form saying
they will NOT be in competing in Beijing at the Olympics. Also the
athlete can't be required to wear sponsored or club apparel during the
shoot.
No NCAA-eligible athletes (this includes High School students who plan
to compete in college).
Below is all the information, include pay rates, requirements, etc. If

Details
* Any race/ethnicity
* 18 to 30 years olds (or otherwise realistic age to be
competing in Olympics in the particular field)
* Non-Union
* Must have valid passport
* Must be in great shape
* Anyone considered a serious contender for Olympic team in any
country is ineligible (due to the possibility the spots may be broadcast
during the Olympic games)
* Anyone required to wear sportwear sponsor's logo on uniform
is ineligible
SHOOT Dates IN JAPAN - January 21-28th, Includes fitting, travel over
and back, rest days, shoot days, weather day
RATE/Fees:
Travel/Prep/Layover $500/day x 5.5 days = est. $2,750
Shoot (10 hrs/day) $1,000/ day x 2 days = $2,000
Usage $3,000/year
Per Diems $75/day x 6 days = est. $450
=> $7,750 fees + $450 per diem
Air Travel (Premier Economy) and Accommodation in Japan will be arranged
by production.
Spot: 60 sec. and 30 sec. lifts
Usage: TV Broadcast (incl. Satellite and Cable), Internet, Mobile, POP,
and Events such as trade shows
Duration: One Year
